Who We Are
Hunt & Hope was founded in London in 2017 by Izzy Hunt and Emmie Hope.
Their dream was to revive the ancient craft of needlepoint with vibrant colours and contemporary patterns, making it compatible with the modern home.
Since then, Hunt & Hope has produced countless inspiring pieces — large and small — for homes and spaces around the world.
From footstools to wall art, cushions to Christmas stockings, the possibilities of needlepoint are endless. Let our Gallery inspire you with the limitless potential of needlepoint.
How our needlepoint is made
Hunt & Hope is proudly women-led.
Our production process always begins with an idea, brought to us by our wonderful clients.
Emmie works with our clients closely to define this idea while Izzy, who trained at the Royal School of Needlework, devises the design and oversees production.
Once our meticulous collaboration results in a finalized and approved design, our brilliant team in Madagascar will begin to bring that design to life.
Since our inception, Hunt & Hope has proudly partnered with a women-owned production studio in Madagascar.
This studio employs 42 women who receive health care, free lunches, fair working hours, and the flexibility to work from home. We deeply respect and appreciate the skill and dedication of our partners in Madagascar, and we are committed to supporting their well-being and livelihoods
Madagascar boasts a rich history of embroidery, often known as the country of "moramora," meaning "no hurry." This philosophy beautifully encapsulates the essence of needlepoint, which demands meticulous care and cannot be rushed.
Our brilliant team of women in Madagascar excel in this complex, technical work, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship in every piece they create.
